The u-turn that is dramatic the plans to introduce the hard-line punishment for same-sex unions will undoubtedly be hailed being a triumph by LGBT legal rights campaigners and a-listers fighting Brunei’s incoming legislation.
The small south-east country that is asian extended its moratorium on presenting the internationally-criticised interpretation of Islamic Sharia laws and regulations.
Brunei’s Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah rethink comes following its plans had been thrust to the worldwide limelight in the backlash led by superstars including George Clooney and Elton John.
