Abstract
In this paper, to show the distinctions of gender-specific choice while the facets impacting potential partner option in online dating sites, we evaluate the users’ behavioral data of a large online dating service in Asia. We realize that for females, system measures of activity and popularity regarding the men they contact are dramatically absolutely related to their texting habits, while for guys only the community measures of interest in the ladies they contact are dramatically absolutely related to their texting habits. Next, when females send messages to guys, they pay attention to not merely whether men’s attributes satisfy their needs for mate option, but additionally whether their very own attributes meet men’s demands, while whenever guys deliver communications to ladies, they pay just awareness of whether women’s attributes satisfy their requirements that are own.
